Maddie is a senior at Carlsbad High School and this is her second year as a photographer and first year as the photography editor for The Lancer Link online newspaper. In her free time, Maddie can be found spending time with friends, getting her zen on in yoga or impressing everyone with her semi-decent photography skills. Maddie also enjoys attempting to play lacrosse, as well as jamming out to bangers in her car. As she no longer has chemistry answers to google, Maddie has decided to try out this similar tactic with her AP Econ homework this upcoming year. Her greatest accomplishment in life is still eating that 42 pack of fruit roll ups in 1 week.

Carlsbad High students work together in cleaning up the campus. Sat. Jun. 3 Carlsbad High School held its first ever campus beautification where students where urged to volunteer and help clean up the campus.

Parents and students of Carlsbad high school gather at La Costa Omni Resort to take pictures for prom. Sat. May 13 Carlsbad held its prom for upperclassmen. This year the prom was held on the USS Midway.
