Hailey is a sophomore and this will be her first year on The Lancer Link staff. She has joined the photography staff and is looking forward to working with her peers to give all of their stories visuals. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and surfing.

On Friday, June 10 theatre performed their last show, The Monologue Show. The show is about a class who for there final, each have to present a monologue. Mr. Banks, played by senior Matt Brent, talks to his student Bradley, played by freshman Adam Oberman.

Alana Snow is a junior at Carlsbad High. She plays a remarkable four sports including basketball, softball, volleyball and track. As well as being a star athlete, she is a member of many clubs on campus.

Every Saturday and Sunday, there is the Seaside Bazaar in Encinitas open from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm. It is an off-beat flea market that is one of a kind. Vendors sell items such as jewelry, soaps, photography, and gems like the ones in this photo.

The Lancer dancers rehearsed for their winter showcase in the CAC on December 9th, 2015. The performed on Thurday and Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm. Lancer dancers, xcallibur, as well as dance PE performed.

On December 2nd, Carlsbad High hosted a tour for incoming freshman. Mr. Muilenberg began the tour by introducing to the parents and students all that Carlsbad has to offer. Following the introduction was a tour around the campus where Carlsbad students got into detail about their extracurricular activities.

On November 20th, band team performs on the football field. Though they could not perform due to the away game, they still show the hard work and dedication they have put into band team. They performed at both 4:45pm and 6pm.

At the theatre festival on Saturday Oct. 24, the theatre kids performed and received feedback from judges. Many won awards for their performances. Alexis Dytko was grinning ear to ear after being awarded for he outstanding performance as Elle in Legally Blonde.

Co-presidents Lindsay Nipper (on the left) and Megan Schoen lead the Mitchell Thorp club meeting based on supporting kids with life-threatening illnesses. They meet every third Wednesday.
