BRIEF: Little Shop of Horrors

Alex Brown, editor in chief

On the first weekend of November, the fall musical, Little Shop of Horrors, will be playing in the CAC. There will be a 7:00 p.m. performance on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th, with an additional matinee performance at 2:00 pm on the 5th.

“The fall musical is an unusual occurrence,”  senior and the lead of the musical Ben Little said, “because usually it’s a fall play.” Being a musical isn’t the only unique aspect of this years fall performance.   “This musical was written by people who made it very dark and twisted,” Little said, “But it also has a sort of sadistic humor to it.”

The cast is made up of juniors and seniors, and has been practicing for over a month and is extremely dedicated to putting on a great show. Rehearsals are every day after school and are two hours long.

“People should come out to see the musical because it’s going to be only one weekend, and it’s going to be a good, interesting performance that has a lot of different draws for people of different backgrounds and ages,” Little said.

Tickets sell for $10 and make sure to purchase them before they sell out!
