CHS celebrates its 60th birthday
This year Carlsbad High School is celebrating their 60th year anniversary. Carlsbad High has been open since 1957, and in those years we have had 58 Lancer Day parades. This year, the Homecoming king and queen were Connor Hanan and Olivia Bernat. These two were voted in by dance attendees in order to be crowned. This year had many festivities such as the pep rally, the parade, the football game and the dance. At the football game, the homecoming court danced during halftime for the whole entire audience. After the football game, fireworks were lit off for the pleasure of the crowd watching. Homecoming is a tradition that has been apart of this high school from the start, and will always be a favorite time for the students.
