Sam Chacon is a senior at Carlsbad and currently in his third year of journalism. Sam likes to surf, travel, and take photos. He is happy to be able to blend his hobby of photography with meaningful work published by the school. Sam is super excited to be the photo editor for the Carlsbad High School publication.

In order to make home made hand sanitizer the materials necessary are: rubber gloves, aloe vera gel, rubbing alcohol of at least 90 percent, a bowl, a measuring cup, a whisk and containers to package the sanitizer.

Seniors Emily Kraszulyak and Kyle Vassau ride around as homecoming queen and king. They were one of five couples selected to be on the court.

Lancer Dancers dance through the streets of down town Carlsbad, with Senior Maddie Dufault leading the charge. The Lancer Dancers perform tirelessly through the whole parade.

Jefferson Elementary drive in an old military vehicle, followed by a trail of students. The car was one of many unique vehicles to be featured in the parade.

Seniors Jake Watts and Max Christian lead the senior class float, pulling the float along the street. The senior float ended up taking third place in the float competition.

Seniors Shayla Eslampour and Ethan Long are waving to the crowd at the Lancer Day Parade. Eslampour and Long were one of the five pairs nominated to become the homecoming queen and king.

Sophomore Megan Corona hit the ball in order to score a point for the team in the second set. Carlsbad ended up winning against La Costa Canyon in the third set with incredible upset victory.
