Podcast EditorAlex Hall is a senior at Carlsbad High School and a second year staff member on the Lancer Link. Her passion is writing and she hopes to further her journalism career at Cal Poly SLO next year. As the podcast editor, she aims to cover current issues and entertain listeners. Her favorite things to do are read good books, go to the beach, and hang out with her friends.

Jake Hamilton, Opinion Editor

Jake grew up in Carlsbad. Last year, someone was crazy enough to let him publish articles. Now for his second year on staff, they let him write opinion articles and run the section as the Opinion Editor. When he's not writing and editing, Jake spends his days playing guitar, camping and having a good time.

Tristan Baez, Writer

Tristan Baez is a senior at Carlsbad High School entering his second year on the Lancer Link Staff. He enjoys writing, watching movies, sleeping and eating good food. Tristan looks to have a career in the film industry, both as a critic and a filmmaker.

Kayra Carrillo, Artist

This is Kayra's second year in Journalism. She loves to draw and bake in her free time. She also enjoys reading books such as Game of Thrones and anything interesting. Kayra looks forward to drawing for the website this year and making new friends.
