State Farm issued a “Celebrate My Drive” contest, where students from 100 different schools created a video that raised awareness about the importance of teen driving safety. People voted everyday for their favorite video on the Celebrate My Drive website, in order to gain the most votes. The top twenty two schools with the most votes will win a prize of a $100,000 grant, and one lucky school will receive the grand prize of a private concert from Echosmith. Carlsbad was placed in the top twenty two schools, where they won the $100,000 grant, and Carlsbad also was the lucky school to get chosen for the private Echosmith concert.
