Lancer Link: How did you start playing tennis?
Shane Coopersmith: Two years ago, my dad introduced me to the sport and I immediately fell in love with it.
LL:Why do you enjoy it?
SC: It’s a good way to clear my mind of stress and worries. Its pretty rad and incredibly fast paced.
LL: What sacrifices have you made for tennis?
SC: Tennis is a major time commitment with practices and games. It’s a physically and mentally demanding sport that takes a lot out of you.
LL: What advice do you have for younger players who are looking to improve?
SC: I would say spend as much time on the court as you possible can and practice your fundamentals. Also, strengthen your mental fortitude.
