Lancer Link: How long have you been playing football?

Dylan Rutledge: I’ve been playing for awhile now, since third grade pop warner.

Lancer Link: How has this sport impacted your life?

Dylan Rutledge: It’s really helped me develop character and keep me disciplined through the years I’ve been playing.

Lancer Link: What kind of time and commitment do you put into football both during season and during the off-season?

Dylan Rutledge: Well it pretty much takes up your entire life because you end up at school from 7:30 till 6:00 almost every day and we have practices on Saturdays and over summer. You feel like your life consists of nothing but football.
