Emma Newton, 12, Editor in chief
Emma Newton is a senior at Carlsbad High School. This is her fourth year on the journalism staff, third year being an editor, and second year being an editor in chief. Outside of school, she plays volleyball and participates in robotics. She also enjoys photography and video editing and is happy to contribute her skills to the CHS journalism class.
