Video games are an activity that many people spend time and effort making and playing. Although some people despise them, video games are still a very popular activity among people of all ages.

 

Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite is a continuation of the popular Halo series. This game was revealed in 2020 and has gained a lot of attention. It will be the last Halo game the company, 343 Industries, will make. Halo Infinite was released on Dec. 8, even though the multiplayer was released on Nov. 15, which celebrated the franchise’s 20th anniversary. The multiplayer features many new items and maps to the Halo franchise. Players are concerned that the campaign will not be released with co-op, which allows players to play the campaign with their friends. The game will center around the character, Master Chief, as he searches for his lost A.I., Cortana, while trying to stop a group of aliens called the banished.

 

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (not to be confused with the movie, Guardians of the Galaxy) is a game that was developed and released by Square Enix on Oct. 26. In the game, you play as Star Lord, head of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and your teammates are controlled by an artificial intelligence. As the leader of the team, you can call your team to do special moves and team huddles. You can also make different key decisions that will alter your adventure and how well your teammates do. They will even remark on the decisions that you made.

 

Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 2042 is the latest installment of the Battlefield franchise released on Nov. 19. The early access was released on Nov. 12. Battlefield 2042 introduces 128 player games with seven enormous maps. Although there will be no campaign, Battlefield 2042 will introduce some new game modes to take its place. They will also be introducing a portal mode that will allow players to make their own custom games with their friends.

 

Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 is a new racing game that will be the first Forza Horizon game to be introduced on the Xbox Series X on Nov. 9. Forza Horizon 5 will take place in Mexico with a ton of new landscapes for players to race on and will be the game’s most open map so far. The game will feature an advanced weather system that changes based on the climate and season. The game will also have a new mode called “event labs” which will allow players to make party games for others to play in multiplayer. Although the game was released on Nov. 5, it had already gained over 10 million players in the first week of its release, which is the biggest launch in Xbox history.

 

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are remakes of the games Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl. The games are about catching animal creatures called Pokémon and were released on Nov. 19. Players are concerned with the new chibi-like art style that the games have, but your Pokémon will still be able to follow you during your adventure. The game will include 493 Pokémon to catch. It includes all the Pokémon from previous generations but none from any later generations. The game will also feature more character customization options than previous iterations of these games.
