The CHS art department had their students create shoes and enter them in the vans custom culture competition. If Carlsbad wins, the art department will win $50,000. Remember to spread the word and vote!

At halftime of Friday nights basketball, cheer performed their routine on mats. Recently, the cheerleaders were told they couldnt tumble during their routines on the wooden gym floor, but not wanting to sacrifice what theyd worked hard on, they compromised with the mats.

The girls water polo team had their senior night on Thursday for their graduating players. Every year they make posters for the seniors which friends and teammates can sign for the girls.

This is the San Diego body storage facility. It is where all those who die from accidents and crimes go. CHS students had the rare opportunity to experience it, in order to film for the Steering Teens Straight program, in order to raise awareness about drunk driving.

This week, the varsity volleyball team took on LCC at an away game. Before each game, the team gathers together for a pep talk and enthusiastic cheer. Chs lost 3-1 in four sets.
