Rylee Skachenko is a 17 year old Senior at Carlsbad High School and this is her first year as a photographer for the Lancer Link webpage. In Rylee's free time she fosters dogs and cats from Helen Woodward and plays lacrosse. Her favorite tv show is Greys Anatomy and Bones. Rylee has three brothers Trent, Aaron, and Kyle, and two dogs Baylee and Pyper.

Freshman, Edward Gardener plays strong defense against his attacker. On Tuesday, March 7th, the Carlsbad boys lacrosse team played Scipps ranch. The Falcons put up a strong fight but ended up losing to the Lancers 9-7.

Junior, Todd Preddmore throws a ball to his teammate. On Tuesday, February 21st, the lancers took on the Spartans for their first playoff game. Chula vista fought hard but Carlsbad took home the win 3-0.

Senior, Seth Ketterer kicks the ball to his fellow teammate. On Thursday, February 16th, The Lancers took on the Bobcats for their senior night. The boys fought hard but ultimately ended up tying 1-1.

Seth Ketterrer commands his team as they go towards goal. On Thursday, February 9th, the Carlsbad boys soccer team took on Torrey Pines for their senior night. The Lancers fought hard but ended up losing to the Falcons 2-1.

Senior, Julia Taliana rushes down the field to beat her defender. On Thurday, Febuary 2nd the Lancers took on the Ravens in a heated battle. Carlsbad ended up winning 2-0 to CCA.

Boy's soccer huddle up to start the game. On Thursday, the 19th of January the Lancers took on the Mavericks in an undisputed rivalry. At the end of the night they ended in a tie 0-0.

Students gather to support Chs band. On Thursday, Dec. 8th Bj's Restaurant and Brewhouse hosted the Lancers for their fundraiser for band. Many student came to support band, have fun, and eat pazookies.

Senior Nate Coe high fives senior Jake Keller after his touchdown. On Friday, October 21st, Carlsbad played Torrey Pines for a chance to get into payoffs. The Lancers were in the lead most of the game but the Falcons scored a touchdown in the last 5 minutes of the game making the final score 21-14.
