Maddie Smith is a junior at Carlsbad High School who loves animals and creating videos. She is a part of the cross country team and is in the broadcasting program at her school. Maddie hopes to pursue her dreams in medicine, preferably at Purdue College in Indiana.

Jack Oakley is a senior at Carlsbad High and a fourth year student in Journalism. Jack likes journalism because he enjoys working with media as well as telling other people's stories. Some of his hobbies include surfing with friends and working during his free time. Jack would love to become a photographer and hopes to gain lots of experiences in his last year of high school.
