Thursday, Nov. 6 marks the start of CHS’ girls water polo season. Anxious and excited, the players headed down to Coronado for their first league game.
For some players on the Novice team, this was their first time in a real game. The girls hopped in the pool, despite the chilly weather, and began to warm-up for their games.
Novice and JV put up a strong fight against Coronado but despite their efforts, lost by a few points. Varsity took no mercy on Coronado’s team and won their game 8-6.
At the start of the season the records stand at this, Novice: 0-1, Jv: 0-1, Varsity: 1-0. As the girls prepare for the next set of games, be sure to keep your eye on the schedule and come support our ladies of the pool!
