Formal season is here. With the dance coming up, people are beginning to plan their nights out. Getting with your group, taking pictures, and going out to dinner is a must. Here are five restaurants within 1o minutes of the Air and Space Museum.

1. Lumi

Lumi is a lively rooftop Japanese eatery spotlighting sushi, seafood, and meat plates including Akira Back Pizza, Charred Yellowtail, and Sashimi. Reservations are required and heaters are available if you’d like to dine outside. They are located in downtown San Diego and are approximately nine minutes from the Air and Space Museum, giving you the perfect amount of time to enjoy your meal.

2. Greystone Steakhouse

Greystone Steakhouse offers many different beef options like Japanese Wagyu, Filet Mignon, and Buffalo Tenderloin. Not in the mood for prime steak or wild game? Greystone offers a variety of fresh seafood, homemade pasta, poultry, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as tapas-style appetizers which are expertly seasoned and perfectly cooked.
They require a reservation and are approximately 10 minutes away from the Air and Space Museum.

3. Juniper & Ivy

If you aren’t looking for a four-course meal, Juniper & Ivy is the place for you. They specialize in tapas and small plates, like Carne Cruda Asada and Baja Yellowtail. Reservations are required and they are approximately 10 minutes away from the Air and Space Museum giving you and your party the perfect amount of time at Juniper & Ivy.

4. Panama 66

If you aren’t looking for such a lavish restaurant, Panama 66 is the perfect place. Panama 66 serves new American-style food including wagyu burgers, tuna melts, and parmesan truffle fries. They do not take reservations and groups larger than 8 may be difficult to seat. Take your time at Panama 66 as the Air and Space Museum is approximately eight minutes away.

5. Yard House
For one last restaurant idea, Yard House is a great place for a big party. Yard House is an American cuisine restaurant serving dishes like tacos, pizza, and burgers. They take reservations and walk-ins and are about a 12-minute drive away from the Air and Space Museum.
