Top 5 Winter holiday themed break activities

A winter breeze in the air, carolers walking the streets, and holiday decor lights homes across the nation. The start of the Christmas season is here. Now with Christmas season dominating the market, families look for the best attractions to visit. Though luckily we have listed out 5 of the best attractions for family during the Christmas season. 

1. Seaworld’s Celebration

Dates: November 23, 2019 – January 5, 2020. SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration is a total takeover of the traditional theme park, transforming SeaWorld into a marvelous holiday event. Seaworld produces live shows like the all-new Winter Wonderland on Ice and Cirque Christmas. Also, they allow you to meet your favorite Christmas characters in Rudolph’s Christmas Town. This North Pole inspired land allows you to meet the Christmas characters from your youth. This event is a perfect fit for the entire family this holiday season. 

2. Balboa park Celebration  

City of San Diego’s 42nd annual free holiday festival. December Nights kicks off this holiday season. This two day event is one of the most popular holiday attractions that is offered within San Diego. This event is projected to attract more than 300,000 attendees. This attraction features elaborate light displays, inspirational choirs, bands and dancers; amazing food and fun-filled attractions. 

3. Holidays at Legoland 

Legoland transforms into a Christmas village the second the holiday season starts. Legoland hosts a Christmas spectacular with many opportunities for all ages. Legoland allows the Christmas celebration to continue with the meeting of your favorite legos characters dressed up in their holiday attire. This park also sets up elaborate light shows and lego decoration. 

4. Jungle Bells

During Jungle Bells, the San Diego Zoo is transformed into a magical winter wonderland with lighted animal sculptures, music, holiday treats, and Santa Claus. This event runs December 13, 2019 – January 5, 2020. This Christmas event allows an exclusive festive Christmas. 

5. Holidays at the Disneyland Resort 

Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure transforms for the holiday season every year. The park of Disneyland puts up countless decorations and ornaments throughout Main Street USA. While at the edge of the long road towers a 60 foot tall tree. While across the walkway Disney’s California Adventure contains the same level of festivities throughout the park. Santa’s village within the redwood creek trails. Characters available for meet and greets wearing their best holiday attire. This iconic event is very good for families looking for not only some Disney magic, but for some Christmas Fun.
