The three day weekend is here. We won’t get another break until summer, so don’t let this pass you by. Take a road trip this Memorial Day Weekend even if it’s only for a day. From camping in Joshua Tree to petting Ostriches in Solvang, there are so many exciting destinations only a road trip away.

Rebecca is a senior and this is her second year on staff at Lancer Link. She plays basketball and golf for Carlsbad High and also enjoys watching TV shows created by Shonda Rhimes.

Genevieve Walker, Staff Photographer

Genevieve Walker is an 18 year old senior who loves her dogs and photography. On her free time she dances, rides dirt bikes, takes photos, and plays with her dogs. Gen also loves the tv show The Office and Parks and Rec. This is her first year on the journalism staff and she looks forward to the many things to come.
