Mike Andrews: Woodworking & Engineering Design Teacher

Mike Andrews, the woodworking and engineering design teacher, is retiring after 9 years of teaching. Andrew’s classes were incredibly hands-on and unique to CHS.

LL: What was your favorite memory working at CHS?

MA: “all the students that come back to me after graduating and tell me how much fun they had in class and how much they miss taking the classes” and he enjoys “Watching the students gain experience and confidence in the workshop… to be able to take care of themselves in the future”.

LL: What are you planning to do next?

MA: “I want to get back into my Astronomy ( I have a 16 inch Meade telescope). I plan on moving out of state after I sell my home in Ramona. I will build more speaker systems and will continue and advance my “audiophile lifestyle”. I will greatly miss CHS, the fantastic, intelligent, and willing to learn students. The amazing staff of high character and professionalism. It truly has been a privilege and an honor to be part of the CHS family”.
