Alyssa Zurita, 12
“My favorite holiday tradition is on the 23rd, my family has been doing this tradition for 30 years now, we make tamales with all the women in our family,” senior Alyssa Zurita said. “We all go to my uncles house and we just make tamales all day, it ends up being like six hours of making tamales. Then on the 24th, we hold a Christmas party and the main dish is the tamales that we made the previous day.”
