  • Why she ran – “I ran because I love this school and everyone here. I want to make it as great as I possibly can and help people and make them feel comfortable here so they can be themselves and express themselves and stand up for what they believe in.”
  • Why she’s qualified – “I love this school and I was freshman class president this year so I have a year of experience and we won the float contest which is pretty much unheard of as freshman.”
  • Campaign strategy – “I walked around asking people to vote for me face-to-face and [I did] a lot of social media campaigning and making posters, just anything I could possibly do.”
  • Why she won – “I think I won because I did a lot of campaigning and a lot of face-to-face talking to people. I also expressed why I wanted to run.”
  • What she plans on doing – “I plan on making a really good float and getting everyone’s ideas and incorporating them into that. [I plan on] trying to make the school how everyone wants it and make it as great as I can while bringing tons of spirit.”
