Sukhman Singh

Junior Sukhman Singh currently swims for Carlsbad High’s varsity swim team. Singh has been swimming since fourth grade and plans on continuing swimming through high school with hopes of swimming in college one day.

Singh’s accomplishments include winning two CIF events last season, the 100 meter butterfly and the 100 meter backstroke. The team got runner-up in CIF last season.

“This year, hopefully, we can improve on that and get first this year in CIF,” Singh said.

Singh was not able to swim his freshman year because he went to Sage Creek High School, but when he moved to Carlsbad he was able to achieve great success.

“I think my greatest accomplishments were winning three CIF events during my first year,” Singh said.

Singh is motivated to swim by his passion for it, and his desire to be the best he can be.
