Michael Apostol
Michael is a two year member of the varsity tennis team and also a member of the San Diego 4.0 Men’s tennis league.
“I am in the top 30 of the San Diego 4.0 Men’s tennis league,” Apostol said. “Which is like a tennis league, for men in San Diego of all different skill levels”.
Many high school athletes play their sports for a vast array of reasons ranging from a desire to go pro to using it as an outlet for stress. For Michael, the reason is quite simple; he plays because it is fun.
“I get really motivated to play,” Apostol said. “I try and get my teammates motivated to, which is good for the team.”
