Lancer Link: What are you representing?

Megan Schoen: I’m representing the Xcalibur dance team.

LL: Why did you want to become a Champion Lancer?

Schoen: I wanted to become a Champion Lancer because I wanted to represent the community the best way possible. It’s an awesome feeling knowing that I might be the person to change a little 8 year old’s life for the better, and I’m so lucky to be given the opportunity to not only represent the community, but the dance department in a positive way.

LL: Where would you want to live and why?

Schoen: I’d probably live here. I love Carlsbad, I think it’s an awesome. You literally have the best of both worlds. You have the perfect weather, such a tight knit community and you can’t go anywhere without running into someone you know.
