Emma Veidt, 12th Grade

Jake Saftig

Lancer Link: What are you representing?

Emma Veidt: I’m representing cross country, and track and also the The Lancer Link.

LL: Why did you want to be a Champion Lancer?

Veidt: I had friends who were Champion Lancers when I was a freshman and I knew when saw them do it, that it’s a program that I wanted to do, and I think it’s a good message to send out to the kids that you don’t have to give into peer pressure, and you can have fun without doing drugs.

LL: If you could live anywhere, where would you live and why?

Veidt: I would probably want to live in Germany because I’m German and I’ve always liked the culture and the nature there and I’ve always wanted to learn the language too.

Ellie Meck is new to The Lancer Link family. She is a part of the varsity dance team, the Lancer Dancers, and participates in very hard and not-passable AP classes. Ellie spends her minimal free time watching Christmas and Disney movies and eating mint and chip gelato on her couch. If you need to contact her, you can find her either at CHS, her house or Disneyland.

Jake Saftig is a senior at Carlsbad High School and this is his first year on staff as a photographer. He enjoys playing lacrosse and long walks on the beach. His motivation comes from his pride of his home soccer team RBBaseball69. Loves to CIGE. I like to lose SD cards and then blame it all on my house burning down or my car getting broken into!
