The swarm of white girls is approaching

With Halloween over, the upcoming winter season brings the excitement of Starbuck’s coveted and savory holiday drinks. Some of the holiday classics include Peppermint Mocha, Gingerbread Latte, and Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Starbucks has just announced having a new seasonal drink in their menu. So you know what this means, an invasion of white girls at every Starbucks location to get their grabby little hands onto this coffee delicacy.

This isn’t any ordinary drink, it’s a warm, caramelized, chestnut-flavored latte topped almost effortlessly with whipped cream and a sprinkle of praline bits. This new seasonal beverage is known as the Chestnut Praline Latte, and it’s coming into stores on Nov. 12.

Just when you thought the pumpkin spice latte craze was almost too much to handle, Starbuck created a whole new breed of white girl. Although the “white girl” phenomenon is one to joke about, I do recommend this new drink for those feeling adventurous in their beverage choices this fall.

Whether one chooses to partake in the Starbucks craze or not, enjoying the luxury of fancy seasonal beverages is not one to be ashamed about. With the upcoming stress of Thanksgiving family reunions and holiday shopping, we could all use a little escape sometimes — and that is exactly what this beverage provides.

Could the Chestnut Praline latte overthrow the Pumpkin Spice latte? Without a doubt, the Pumpkin Spice latte brings a sense of fall to the school year that many people look forward to with the seasons, but it’s got a new tough competitor.

This is the first new Starbucks drink in five years, and it might all ready be one of the new favorites, so you better watch your back Pumpkin Spice latte — you may have to share your spotlight this season.

Try to be considerate this year and purchase this new beverage, because there is going to be a swarm at any Starbucks you go to. However, this new addition to the Starbucks seasonal classics may actually prove worthy to wait in the lines for.
