Delaney Benson, varsity lacrosse captain

LL: How long have you played lacrosse?

Benson: For about six or seven years.

LL: What position do you play?

Benson: I play midfield.

LL: What is your goal for this season?

Benson: My personal goal is to connect with the team, and teach the younger ones how to do more advanced things. My team goal is to be more connected because last year we weren’t so much, we were kind of individuals playing.

LL: Do you plan on playing in the future?

Benson: I’m playing at Fort Lewis college for the next four years for division two lacrosse.

LL: If you could give yourself any superhero name, what would it be?

Benson: D-Benz.

Maddie Bowman, Photography Editor
Maddie is a senior at Carlsbad High School and this is her second year as a photographer and first year as the photography editor for The Lancer Link online newspaper. In her free time, Maddie can be found spending time with friends, getting her zen on in yoga or impressing everyone with her semi-decent photography skills. Maddie also enjoys attempting to play lacrosse, as well as jamming out to bangers in her car. As she no longer has chemistry answers to google, Maddie has decided to try out this similar tactic with her AP Econ homework this upcoming year. Her greatest accomplishment in life is still eating that 42 pack of fruit roll ups in 1 week.
