Sophomore Megan Corona hit the ball in order to score a point for the team in the second set. Carlsbad ended up winning against La Costa Canyon in the third set with incredible upset victory.
The girls varsity volleyball team has started off the season on a good foot. They continued their streak with a win against their long time rival La Costa Canyon. Carlsbad ended up winning in the third set after winning the first and loosing the second. The girls team hopes to continue to win and hopefully get a CIF devision win.
