Senior Duke Paane and Junior Derick Valverde wait for the ball to be served. Boys Volleyball surprised many this season by making the division one CIF finals. “The game resulted in an unfortunate loss,” Valdez said. “We battled throughout the whole game, proving that Carlsbad was very good competition.”
