Marianna Marsden, Photography Editor

Marianna is currently a senior at Carlsbad High School. This is her 3rd year in Lancer Link and she is the photography editor. She is also an exclusive 1/4 member of the original journalism posse. As the role of The Clueless, Marianna continuously is lost in class and often meows to signal her confusion.  Never waking up on time, you can find her walking in late with a Lancer Trac Pass in one hand and her breakfast in the other. Her pet Marshmallow is her cute, but feisty albino hedgehog (and yes she is real). Her 2nd pet hedgehogs name is Cocoa and is a lazy slightly confused baby. MEOW

PLUS team has hosted 8th grade tours since December in attempt to help them make a decision for which high school in Carlsbad to attend. Jan.13 was the last tour hosted. The PLUS members brought them through each department of the school (theatre, journalism,speech & debate, ect.) in order to show them the quality of life at our school.

On Tuesday Jan. 12, Carlsbad competed against Bishops. Megan Phillips(#7) tries for an assist in hopes of bringing the score back up. Although a tough game resulting in overtime, Lancers lost by one point in the last 20 seconds of the 6th period.

The Annual Holiday Tree Lighting for Carlsbad was on Sunday Dec. 6. Rotary club hosted the event and Mayor Hall lit the tree. Families had the opportunity to take pictures with santa in front of the tree.
