1. Get a Pumpkin Spice Latte: The time has come to embrace fall, and what better way to do this than drinking Starbucks’ most popular seasonal drink. Stay warm and join the trend by taking advantage of this limited time offer.

2. Go to a Charger gameThe San Diego Chargers play both the Oakland Raiders on Oct. 25 and Pittsburg Steelers on Oct. 12 at Qualcomm Stadium this month. Come and enjoy the full football experience with a tailgate, game and representing San Diego.

3. Little Italy FESTA: Get a feel for the Italian culture in San Diego through a variety of foods, music on three stages and tournaments for the whole family. These festivities will take place on Oct. 11 and it is one of the biggest Italian celebrations in the country.

4. Hauntfest on Main: On Oct. 23, show off your costumes in downtown El Cajon while jamming out to the three performances and enjoying the various attractions. This event will entertain anyone who comes for the candy trails, carnival rides and pumpkin patch.

5. Haunted Aquarium: ShipwreckedWork with Oceanographers to discover the creepy critters of the sea at the Birch Aquarium. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 23-Oct. 24, attendees can use the smallest 3D microscope to look at some of the spookier aspects of the sea.

6. Go see a movie: There are many movies hitting theaters this month. Embrace the indoors by seeing an action thriller like The Martian or one fun for the whole family, like Pan.

7. Scream Zone: Come to the Del Mar Scaregrounds to participate in spine-chilling events such as The House of Horror, The Haunted Hayride, KarnEvil and Paintball Apocalypse. It will be open on selected dates throughout the month of October until Nov. 1.

8. Visit Old town Fall Fest: In order to get into the true spirit of fall, visit Old Town on Oct. 10 for games, crafts and fall-themed activities. Bring the whole family for a day in the park from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m..

9. Check into The Haunted Hotel: Get a scare at one of “America’s Scariest Hotel” located in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarters. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to go to the best haunt here is San Diego.

10. Old Globe Musial: Experience a true broadway show, with the 18 Tony award-winning musical “In Your Arms” at The Old Globe Theater. Including all genres of dance, this musical will leave you in awe.
