What are your thoughts on the Smart Start program for the new student parking lot?

Next year, students will be able to find parking somewhere other than the neighborhood streets if they complete the Smart Start program, a two-hour class students will have to attend with their parents if they want to park in the lot. LL asked students about their thoughts on the Smart Start program.

    Ashley Lauber, Sophomore

“I don’t think that it’s necessary because we already have our licenses.”

    Lon Garbett, Junior

“It sounds a bit excessive because we already do classes to allow us to drive and now they want us to do a class to park.”

    Jake Gordon, Senior

“I’m not going to be here next year, but that is a bummer for the grades below mine.”

    Becca Tang, Freshman

“That is the worst idea I have ever heard of.”
